Klophop is more than just a hop plant. It's a community.
What started in the Klopvaart City Garden grew into a national network of hop farmers. People with a garden, balcony, or facade who share one goal: to grow fresh hops for our annual Klophop beer.

Every spring, hops are super easy to propagate. So: share your plant, give away a cutting, or start one yourself. That way, we'll continue to grow Klophop together throughout the Netherlands.

3. Come to the joint harvest at the brewery on September 12 & 13.
During the harvest festival, we'll pick all the hops together, of course with a good glass of beer in hand. From your hops, we will brew a Fresh Hop beer in October: a refreshing, hoppy blonde beer with undried hops, straight from plant to kettle.
On October 17, at the Fresh Hop Fest, this beer, along with many other fresh hop beers, will be on tap.
So Klophop is not just any beer or hop variety. It's your hops. Your harvest. Our shared moment.
