Our organic beers now at Udea, Ekoplaza & Foodmarqt

Good news for everyone who consciously chooses what they eat (and drink): our organic beers are now also available at Udea, Ekoplaza, and Foodmarqt.
For years, we at vandeStreek have been brewing with attention to quality, taste, and origin. And now you can also taste that at the organic stores where you do your weekly shopping.

From hobby to independent brewery

We are vandeStreek bier, started by two brothers from Utrecht who once began with a pot on the stove, simply because we wanted to know if we could make tastier beer ourselves. It turned out we could. Meanwhile, we have grown into one of the largest independent breweries in the Netherlands.

We still brew independently, without a large multinational above us. That means we decide what we brew, with whom, and especially how. And we can choose ingredients and processes that we fully support, such as organic brewing.

Organic and SKAL-certified

All our organic beers are SKAL-certified. This means that every ingredient – from malt to hops – has been controlled and approved according to strict European organic standards. For us, organic is not a marketing word, but a way to brew more consciously. We believe that brewing delicious beer can go hand in hand with being a little kinder to the world around us.

Our organic beers

A brief introduction to the organic beers we brew:

🍺 Broeders
One of our very first brews. A soft blonde beer with a slightly spicy edge. The classic that started it all and still one of our favorites.

🍺 Witzige Weizen
A mix between a classic, creamy full Weizen and a fresh, spicy Witbier. A real thirst-quencher and awarded silver at the Dutch Beer Challenge 2025.

🍺 Turf ’n Surf
A full triple with a hint of smoke and a pinch of salt. A robust beer with depth and balance, perfect with a good meal or an evening with friends.

🍺 Pilsener
Clear, fresh, and thirst-quenching. Classic pils, but organic and gluten-free. Ideal for those who simply want to drink a really good pils.
