Introducing: our first Whiskey Barrel Aged

The second Playground beer is a Russian Imperial Stout aged for six months in 1987 Sherry and Hogshead Bunnahabhain whiskey casks.

This black gold has developed a nice taste profile of whiskey, wood and a light peated smoke taste in these six months. This syrupy stunner of 11% is available in limited edition. An ideal beer to keep if you can stay away from it! Feel free to leave it for a while and then open it on a special occasion. We know, we drink it fresh!
