vandeStreek shares turnover with the hospitality sector
vandeStreek bier will donate part of its webshop turnover to catering establishments. We want to give cafes and restaurants a flying start as soon as the closure of the catering industry is lifted. Our webshop customers decide for themselves which catering business they support with their purchase.
Since March 15, all catering establishments have had to keep their doors closed to prevent the spread of the corona virus. “We feel that as a brewery,” says Ronald van de Streek, “but our catering customers are hit even harder,” he continues. “We still have our sales to shops and supermarkets. In addition, the turnover of our webshop has risen sharply in the past month, because consumers know how to find local companies online during this crisis.”
We have therefore decided to convert part of what we earn in the webshop into beer for the catering industry. Ronald explains: “This is how we give the hospitality industry a kind of flying start in our own way. As soon as the doors open again, they will receive fresh beer that they can sell without incurring any costs”. The amount of beer that is donated is equal to 10% of the turnover from our webshop.
You, our webshop customer, decide which catering establishments will receive beer as soon as the doors open again. During checkout you can indicate which business in which city you want to support with your purchase. “We do not make a distinction whether this was already a loyal catering customer of ours or even had beer from us on the menu,” says Ronald, “the most important thing is that we all ensure that as few catering establishments as possible collapse due to this crisis. ”.
