Turf 'n Surf: welcome smoke and salt!

Turf /n Surf is a triple. We didn't expect it either, but for this winter we suddenly felt like brewing a Belgian style. But brewing a standard tripel is a bit too boring for us of course – welcome smoke and salt!

The minimal amount of peat-smoked malt in this beer creates a subtle hint of smoke, which is complemented by a pinch of sea salt. The hops we brewed with is Summer, a fresh Australian stunner. In addition to the freshness, smoke and saltiness, there is also a traditional tripel in which the fruity esters from the yeast and alcohol heating have not been lost.
