After the first edition in 2023, the Barrel Collab Series returns in November! Together with Frontaal, Baxbier, van Moll, Antwerpse Brouw Compagnie, de Magistraat and Floem, we brewed 6 unique barrel-aged beers.
The pre-order is now closed. In the week of November 24th, a small stock of Barrel Collab Series #2 will become available in our webshop.
Everyone knows that De Magistraat are true Barrel Masters. So, when you collaborate, you have to create something special. And they did. During the brew day, they challenged us to completely reinvent a classic style. And we think we succeeded pretty well, if we do say so ourselves!

With Van Moll, we bit the bullet and stepped right into the enemy camp: wine. This collab is entirely dedicated to wine, from beginning to end. And yes, even though we still firmly stand behind F*ck Wine, we must honestly admit... this collab has even convinced us that wine can be good too.

When the legendary Floem comes all the way from the far north to Utrecht, you know something special is about to happen. Outside it was grey and bleak, but inside the brewery quickly transformed into a tropical paradise. The result? A style you’ve probably rarely had in your glass…

The collaboration day with Frontaal was all about one thing: smoke. We smoked our own malt especially for this beer and then aged it in Speyside whisky barrels. The result? A combination of an intensely smoky character and a subtle hint of whisky.

Together with Baxbier, we went for a style that you would normally never barrel-age. But hey, often you're too scared, so we just went for it. And as if that wasn't exciting enough, after aging, we also added a good portion of raspberry. The result? A collab you won't soon forget.

When we discovered that Antwerpse Brouw Compagnie had never brewed a collab before, we naturally couldn't let that opportunity pass. So, we invited them to Utrecht for a brew day. The result? A beer that will blow you away... and let's be honest: if you brew a beer style like this with Belgians, you know it's going to be good.
