Cook/kitchen assistant (16-38 hrs)

Are you our new cook or kitchen assistant and looking for a really cool challenge, in which you will create beautiful and tasty dishes together with the team?

vandeStreek bier opens the doors of a new food bar in the center of Utrecht located at Oudegracht 50 - nice and central and in a building full of history. For this we are looking hard for you and how cool is it that we are going to put this together! The menu is completed by a concept with dishes with an appearance that suits the brewery and that combine well with the beers of vandeStreek itself. Think of food pairing with beers, but also cooking with beers in the dishes. In the kitchen of our building you will work to make our guests happy with delicious and surprising food with the beers we tap!

What are we looking for:

• A motivated cook who is open to learning
• An interested kitchen assistant with ambition

Job requirements:

• Changing working hours (in which we structure as much as possible)
• Flexible & go-getter
• Team player & stress resistant
• Creativity in cooking
• Passion for specialty beer (Not necessary but an advantage)
• Training to become an independent working cook
• 2 years relevant work experience
