EBC is the color of beer. EBC stands for European Brewers Convention. The scale ranges from yellow (10) to red (25) to black (>70).

IBU

15

International Bitterness Unit

IBU is the bitterness of beer. Dutch pilsner is approximately 15-20 IBU, while a West Coast IPA can quickly reach 60 IBU. IBU is always in proportion to the alcohol percentage of the beer, so a heavy beer with high IBU can still taste sweet because the maltiness overpowers the bitterness.

The story

Hazy Weekend

The weekend, an ultimate moment of rest, relaxation and of course a good glass of beer. Hazy Weekend is a New England IPA in which we use 50% another hop in addition to 50% Amarillo. As a result, the beer is always surprising and you can continue to discover new flavors. New England IPA originated on the east coast of America in Vermont. Here, stubborn breweries have reinvented the IPA by using little or no bittering hops and using all hops for flavor and aroma. To support that taste and aroma, the beer is brewed as juicy and hazy as possible. The yeast, but certainly also the wheat and oats in this type of beer play an important role in this. Due to the consistent use of Amarillo selected by us, Hazy Weekend always has a considerable pineapple aroma. That constant fruitiness is complemented by the other chosen hops. This way the beer can be drawn more in the citrus, grassy or earthy direction.
